Description
A kiln-formed landscape panel of a special bay on the west Wales coast in blues and greens.
Traeth Bach, or Secret Beach, can only be reached on foot but it’s well worth it. Walk north on the coast path from Penbryn and you’ll reach this gem. At low tide you can reach the island and the waters are fabulous for a dip.
Streams of deep indigo bubbles ripple across the sea and sky, each a tiny time capsule from the day the panel was fired. The landscape is painted on a white glass which gives a wonderful translucency to the piece.
You could have this window onto a very special place all year round, sitting on a windowsill catching the sunlight, or on a shelf or mantelpiece with a light behind.
