A seascape where land, sea and sky fall together in harmony. Shades of blue and black come together in layers of pattern and form.
Like my other panel A Westerly Wind, a headland juts into the sea as brooding skies gather overhead and rooks circle in to roost. There are delicate swirls of gorgeous indigo blue bubbles for the sea and more of them in the sky – created by carefully capturing copper oxide between the sheets of glass.
The surface of this panel has a wonderful texture in aqua glass, giving a great sense of movement and depth.
This will catch the light beautifully on the windowsill, or light it from behind in the evening. Maybe a gift for someone special – if you don’t end up falling in love with it.
