Description
Late afternoon colours set across a small but perfect glass curve, red, turquoise, orange, indigo blue and a swirl of palest pink.
This little panel evokes memories of walking hill paths as the petals of the sun start to fade at the end of a perfect day. The light behind the hill has turned it a deep indigo shade and a pair of rooks hurry home in the fading light. Threads of blue bubbles suspended in the glass run up the left hand side of the landscape – created by carefully layering copper oxide between the sheets of glass before the firing.
The glass has a lovely translucency and glow to it due to the nature of the opaline glass – allow the sunlight to make it sing, then light a tealight behind it in the evening and watch it shine.
Comes boxed, with a tealight – all ready to gift or keep.
