Mixed media ethereal yet vibrant landscape where land and sea, dawn and dusk collide. All the shades of blue, green, pink and red.
Come dawn, a tender blush heralds the awakening of the hilltop skyline. Layers of rolling hills, bathed in hues of amethyst and rose, embrace the morning light. The skyline sees the promise of a new day, a tableau of hope and renewal, watched over by skimming birds.
The hill is a stream of blue bubbles, as is the river below, created by carefully layering copper oxide powders between the glass sheets. The surface is gently textured with pale aqua glass.
The square glass panel is set within an abstract painting on a wooden canvas, extending on the themes, forms and colours of the glass. Edges are painted a dark grey.
The reverse recess of the board allows this to be hung on a wall hook, or you could prop it on a shelf.
